Affiliate Marketing Tips - How to Chose Your Nice

Many people who are just starting out as an affiliates, those who are brand new to the affiliate marketing world, are confused and overwhelmed by the numbers of niches, categories and subcategories the Internet's leading retailers are offering. That's the main reason many have trouble deciding what niche and product they should dive in and promote.

It's important to avoid this and decide upfront what niche you are interested in, or at least interested in learning more about. The niche you chose have to fit your interests or hobbies. For ex. if you are working out and you're interested in fitness, than that might be the perfect niche for you, or if you like to cook or know lots about cooking and recipes or intend to learn, maybe cooking & food should be your niche or if you're into gaming, you might be interested in promoting products related to games, you get the idea.

There are plenty of niches you can choose from, but the important part is for you to love working with the niche and be familiar with it, since you will be doing a lot of marketing stuff for it. In other words teach and convincing people what's right and best for them. But also you need be aware of the fact that the niche or product you're into might not be so profitable, and not many people are looking for that exact area of expertise, which is unlikely to buy the stuff you'll be offering.

That's why you should check at your affiliate retailer, such as ClickBank, if the product you're trying to promote is actually worth promoting or not. If the gravity of the products in your particular niche in the ClickBank's Marketplace are below 20 you might start considering to choose a new one, but this doesn't have to be always accurate, different stuff works for different people. However, it is most likely for the product to convert better if the gravity is above 20, that actually means it's working for other affiliates. But it's also not smartest to choose a product or niche that are incredible saturated, for ex. if the products in your niche have 300 or more gravity than it's unlikely for you to get a huge piece of the pay with that much competition stuck on it, unless you are experienced and know how to run things.

So the point of choosing your niche is to find some balance between saturation and conversion, I would say products from 50-100 works the best, based on my own personal experience, but huge factor is for you to enjoy the niche you will be promoting and have fun with it.
